ABOUT WIFT ZAMBIA
WIFT Zambia is a budding community of women united by a shared passion to elevate the voices, talents, and leadership of women in the Zambian Film & TV industry. As an affiliate of WIFT Africa and a proud chapter of WIFT International, we stand on the shoulders of a global network of over 50 chapters pushing for gender equality and meaningful representation of women on and off the screen.
To amplify the voice of Zambian women in the film and TV industry by creating a dynamic, connected ecosystem shaping the future of film, TV, and screen media.

Enhance visibility and champion achievements of Zambian women in screen media.
Facilitate collaboration and cross-border initiatives with WIFT Africa chapters and WIFTI
Encourage positive, diverse representation of women across media through breaking stereotypes of marginalisedwomen.
Promote chapter growth, member capacity-building, and sustainable industry linkages.
To foster an enabling environment that encourages women’s participation and adoption of emerging technologies in the rapidly evolving tech space.
Operate on a non-commercial, not-for-profit basis, reinvesting surplus in mission activities.
